TRANSFER STUDENTS

New to the area looking for a new dojo?  Former Karate student from another system looking for something new and exciting?  Experienced, but never had the opportunity to learn weapons?  You have found the right dojo!  Over the years we have had many students both young and old transfer into our system.  Our base system of Tang Soo Do forms utilizes many forms (kata) routines found in many styles around the globe.  Can you keep your rank?  Yes, in most cases the student can keep a previously earned rank.  In rare cases when an adult student is returning to training after many years we do start lower on the ladder.  However, if you are transferring in pretty fresh from training more times than not we are able to fit you in where you were while you learn our curriculum, then start working on our new routines regarding earning promotions.  We normally evaluate transfer students over the first few weeks in order to determine what is going to best suit the incoming student based on their previously learned skill set.  Our ultimate goal is for every last one of our students to realize sustained growth and progress in the martial arts.
